A Day at MJ
|
|
| |
7:00 am – Rise and
Shine
Dogs are aired on our 5-acre property that is fenced, secure and safe. They can
run, swim, dig, roll and romp. They are allowed to stay out as long as they want.
When they come back to the kennel they get a treat and put back into their run.
If they are to be fed, this is when they get their morning meal and medication
if required.

8:30 am – Kennel
Keeping
Kennels are very large and comfortable. In fact, if you have more than one dog,
each kennel can accommodate two large dogs. (we still charge for each dog though!)

Mid-day – The Big
Walk
If your dogs get along with others, can be walked off-leash and come when called
they get an hour walk on the 300 acres that butt up to our property. They
can burn off some energy and frolic with other dogs and just be dogs. We
do this walk every day all year round. Rain or shine. The dogs are so content
after this walk they are happy to get back to their run and take an afternoon
nap. If you've ever wondered why your dogs sleep for hours after being
at MJ Kennels, it’s because they’ve had an incredible physical
experience. If the weather gets extreme (like we sometimes get here in
Northeast Ohio), we just give them another romp in the 5-acre area.
If you own an older dog that is not physically
able to make that walk or can’t be let out with the more
rambunctious dogs, they will be let out with others their age or
alone to do their own thing.

2:00 pm – Afternoon Hiatus
Dogs are aired again in our fenced 5-acre area to do their business and stretch
their tired muscles. Then they get a treat and let back into the kennel.
|
|
| |
5:00 pm – Chowtime
Feed and water all dogs and let them out again.
|
 |
|
| |
10:00 pm – Night Moves
Dogs are let out into the fenced area to get their last stretch and to do their
business. We let them in and then we spend another half hour hanging out
with your dogs. We sit in their kennels and rub their ears and get to know
them.
